Held in high esteem in the entertainment industry, Fang Darhythm is a House DJ/Producer with experiencing spanning more than 15 years, where he has collaborated with international artists like Louie Vega, Portia Monique and Brutha Basil.
Locally Fang makes up one half of house music duo, The Rhythm Sessions – which has a significant following in the local music arena , following the release of their first album in 2017 and EP in 2019. Through the Rhythm Sessions, Fang also produced, presented and shared live mixes on the duo’s radio show, House of Love With The Rhythm Sessions on Kaya FM 95.9.
“Like many others during this pandemic we are facing, when I was working on the song, I was going through life-changing moments. Lockdown, retrenchment, new ventures… but as the track progressed I kept feeling a sense of newness and rebirth…. New beginnings, new opportunities, new direction. It feels like life has just started and I knew that was the only suitable title for my first release”, says Fang.
